Devil's Canyon Brewing Company is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near San Carlos, CA

Devil's Canyon Brewing Company in the heart of the Bay Area is searching for a Sales Rep to grow our distribution network.

The role requires the Sales Representative to be:

  • Organized
  • Enthusiastic
  • Observant
  • Be knowledgable in the brewing process, specifically craft beer
  • Possess the ability to interact professionally with retail account owners, managers, and buyers for on- and off-premise accounts
  • Have experience and a proven track record in both product sales and marketing

Primary responsibilities include the following:

  • Execute the overall vision of the Sales Manager for business growth, customer service, and the Devil's Canyon C.O.R.E. ethos.
  • Sell and Market Devil's Canyon Brewing Company Products to established and target accounts
  • Maintain quality control through proper rotation, and product selection
  • Grow Sales Revenue and Points Of Distribution in assigned territory for on- and off-premise accounts.
  • Ensure Devi's Canyon Brewing Company brands are merchandised or displayed per company standards in assigned territory - correct product selection and proper shelf placement
  • Have a general understanding of the climate of the beer and alcohol industry and how to strategize within the company framework to grow distribution and sales in assigned territory as well as stay up to date with sales and marketing trends in the beer and craft beer industries
  • Collaborate/execute/implement strategies with the sales team to meet all assigned KPIs and OKRs to increase distribution and sales
  • Complete daily activity reports in detail to track communication, sales, and opportunities
  • Represent Devil's Canyon Brewing Company in events, festivals, etc. within assigned territory
  • Create and maintain positive, trusting relationships with retail account owners, managers, buyers, and staff
  • Maintain a daily, weekly, and monthly calendar for sales calls, deliveries, and prospecting of target accounts
  • Follow Devil's Canyon Brewing Company procedures and protocols regarding safe driving of company vehicles, proper lifting techniques, and maintain Devil's Canyon Brewing Company standards at all accounts
  • Other duties as assigned.

Applicant must:

  • Be able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly and occasionally 150 pounds
  • Have a California Driver's License with a clean driving record (No history of DUI)
  • Have basic computer and electronic device skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office products preferred

Approved Salary: $60k Commission (Quarterly)

Benefits information:

  • Paid Vacation (For years one through two, employees earn approximately one week of vacation per year, increasing overtime)
  • Paid Holidays (New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)
  • Sick Days (5 per year)

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
